I’ve been obsessed with movies for as long as I can remember. I always loved the visuals of the “Star wars” prequels with which I grew up with. Since then I wanted to make as good looking movies.
When I was ten I started my journey into the crazy filmmaking world. I first started out making little skits with a friend of mine. A few months later I began using after effects and following Youtube tutorials, while I watched hours and hours of behind the scenes footage, of my favourite films to understand how they were made.
After I saw the trailer of “The last Jedi” (which turned out to be a major disappointment) in late 2017, I got into the world of 3D, while I was still making Short films. I learned blender t’ill the middle of 2020, when I realised that blender lacks the capabilities for complex simulations. That’s when I discovered Houdini. It fascinated me how complex the program is and how many things you could create. After some learning I realised that modelling or animation isn’t the thing I wanted to do in the long term. I wanted to do FX, with Houdini.
My goal is to bring the same magic to the people, that these movies and their incredible VFX had given me, back then.
